Evans; her son Rick Prather; her siblings, Gladys Snyder, Beverly Trudeau, Charlene Heuer, Karen Litten, Donald Rauschenberger, Wayne Rauschenberger, Robert Rauschenberger and Ralph Rauschenberger; her granddaughter Tina Wilhelm-Perna; and her former husband Jake Prather.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Wilhelm (Chet), Judy Laidlaw (Tim), Bonnie Hensley (Mark) and Mark Prather (Cathy); her siblings, Donna Mae Frazier, Sandra Beaty, Gerald Rauschenberger (Dorothy) and Ruth Sexsmith (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Jenny Pfeiffer (Brian), Rachel Johnson (Isaac), Megan Katchor (Kyle), Sara Mix (Alex), Bryan Laidlaw (Jessica), Conor Prather, Zachary Prather and McKenna Prather; her great grandchildren, Julia Nisley, Frank Perna, Caleb Pfeiffer, Kole Katchor, Caden Pfeiffer, Mason Katchor, Kelly Block, Emily Block, Madelyn Mix, Ben Mix, Miranda Johnson, Levi Johnson and Adriana Johnson; and her great great grandchildren, Cami Perna, Liam Nisley and Sophia Nisley.
A reception will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Merkle Funeral Service (14567 S Dixie Hwy, Monroe Charter Twp, MI 48161).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Oaks of Righteousness Food Bank.
