It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas L. Vasher (Monroe, Michigan), born in Trenton, Michigan, who passed away on January 17, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Charles "Buddy" Vasher and Dale Vasher. He is survived by: his sister Olga Vasher (Zylinski); his former wife Joan Prucka; his wife Teresa Rorke (Lloyd); his siblings, Randy Vasher (Kelly), Larry Vasher, Sharleen Datini (Robert) and Irene "Sissy" Quick; his children, Thomas C. Vasher of Michigan, Shelley Rogalski (Edward) of Florida and Moorey-Margaret Myers (Keith) of Florida; his stepchildren, John Rorke, Maria Hubbard (Mark), Joe Rorke (Rachel), Bryan Rorke (Gloria), Terry Rorke (Stephanie), Lloyd Rorke (Sarah), Dena Weyand (Joe), Jude Rorke (Rhonda), Mary Lauer (Bill) and Kirstie Horkey (Travis); and his grandchildren, Ashley Thompson (Coady) of Illinois and Andrew Rogalski (Meghan) of California. He is also survived by his four great grandchildren and one step great grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to the USO, an organization close to Tom's heart, in honor of his pride as a brother, father‑in‑law, stepfather, and grandfather to Veterans.
