He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Groves and Gladys Groves (Wertenberger); his great grandchild Hailey Nicole Gould; and his son-in-law Eugene Butler. He is survived by: his wife Judy Groves; and his children, David Groves (Jan) of Monroe, Gary Groves of Toledo, Linda Zeitz (Mark) of Monroe, Marilyn Butler of Monroe and Christine Bastien (Dale) of Monroe. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are encouraged in lieu of flowers.
