He is survived by: his wife Ann Russeau; his children, William Dempsey Jr. (Pamela), Anita Hains (Tom), Wendy Loffer (Randy), Victoria Taylor (Jody), Scott Dempsey (Tina) and Timothy Dempsey (Bonnie); his grandchildren, Jeff, Lauryn, Nickolas, William, Patrick, Cole, Megan, Dawson, Elijah, Jessica and Timothy; and his sister Mildred Dempsey.
