He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Preston and Laura Preston (Bonk); his brothers, Bob, Jerry, Jim and Richard Preston; and his grandson Christopher Messer.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Preston; his sister Myrtle Greer; his children, Michelle Wise, Cindy Cline (Norm Bonk), Michael Derby (Roxanne), Tina Strictland (Denise) and Dawn Knezevich (Steve Brown); and his grandchildren, Chad Messer (Teri), Jessica Vandeveld, Alyson Knezevich (Will Pomes), Angel Post (Mark), Chantel Walker (Jeff), Heather Wright (Ray), Aaron Tochalauski, Shawn Tochalauski and Adam Derby. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren, and two great- great grandchildren.
