He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Eilers and Hortense Eilers (Bosse); his wife Beverly Eilers (Cram); and his siblings, Joyce Barringer, Ruth Knight and George Eilers.

He is survived by : his children, Geoff Eilers, Michael Eilers and Kristine Burns; his grandchildren, April Freiberg, Samantha Blohm (Jeremy) and Gerald Burns (Beth); his great grandchildren, Alex, Gage, Parker, Avery, Rebel, Bailey, Gunner and Ali Mae; and his brother Lawrence Eilers Jr..
