She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton Moore and Zelpha Moore (Wever); and her husband Darwin Parsons. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Parsons (Lori) of Montague and Konda Grant of Montague; and her grandchildren, Brandon Parsons (Maria), Carrie Jensen (Christopher), Patricia Jegla (Charles), Susan Yaw (Warren) and Jennifer Short (Andrew). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Claybanks United Methodist Church or Harbor Hospice of Muskegon.
