He was predeceased by : his father Harold Short; and his brother Marcus Short. He is survived by : his wife Virginia Short; his children, Jeffery Short (Dawn) and Lori Short; his grandchildren, Chelsey Loper (Brian), Alicia Brewster (Chad), Verity Annese (Nick), Maisey Soleimani (Josh) and Jonathan Dressel; his great grandchildren, Alexis Brewster, Everleigh Loper, Charleigh Loper, Sarena Loper, Graham Soleimani and Stella Annese; and his siblings, Carolyn Kish, Diane Wendling (Chuck) and Mervin Short. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
