It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James E. Kinney of Montrose, Michigan, who passed away on March 27, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Kinney and Beatrice Kinney (Warren); his wife Shirley Kinney; and the mother of his children Barbara Hartley. He is survived by: his children, Jim Kinney (Mary), Teresa Whitney (Scott) and Robert Kinney (Barbara); his grandchildren, Juston, Ashley, Ian and Whitney; his brother Gerald Kinney (Yvonne); and his close friend Renee Jenkins. He is also survived by 2 Great grandchildren.

His dedication to service and brotherhood exemplified the values he cherished, and his contributions to these organizations will be long remembered.
