She was predeceased by: her husband Martin Eugene Denton; her parents, Verlin Olsen and Thelma Olsen (Martin); her son-in-law Jerry Mack; and her granddaughter Faith.
She is survived by: her children, Gale Mack of Newaygo, Michael Denton (Kathi) of Montrose, Bruce Denton (Vonnie) of Tustin, Nancy Sippert (Norm) of Holland, Patrick Denton of Sandusky and Susanna Mazure (Myron) of Ubly; and her siblings, Chuck Olsen (Beth) of Croswell, Olee Olsen (Pat) of Boone, NC and Patti Mitchell (John) of Seattle, WA.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Memorials in memory of LaVerne may be made to Heartland Hospice.
