He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Cymbalist and Lore Cymbalist (Dreyfuss); his in-laws, Jim and Catherine Hull; and his granddaughter Mara Elizabeth Cymbalist.
He is survived by: his wife Ginny; his sons, Andrew Cymbalist (Lisa) of Jeffersonville and Benjamin Cymbalist (Katrina) of Sault Ste; his grandchildren, Daylen Cymbalist (Emma) of Louisville, Miriam Cymbalist of Jeffersonville, Eliot Cymbalist of Sault Ste and Marie; his brother Mark Cymbalist (Judy) of San Antonio, Texas; and his nephew Fredrick Cymbalist of Austin, Texas..
