He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Franklin and Elizabeth Simpson (Alford). He is survived by: his children, Joey Simpson, Frankie Simpson, Kayde Miller and Kandi Simpson; his stepdaughters, Leah Taylor and Valerie Siegle (Dustin); and his sisters, Julie Morse (Tracy), LouAnn Rowley, Pam Richardson (Ken), Becky Paskan (Donavan) and Tanya Garvin (David). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Marry Funeral Home - Morenci (303 N Summit St, Morenci, MI 49256). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:15 PM at the Dover Center Cemetery (7500 W Carleton Rd, Clayton, MI 49235).

Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
