She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Slee and Flossie Slee; her husband Kenneth Merillat; her son Kenny Merillat; her daughter-in-law Alice Merillat (Hood); her grandchildren, Kayleen and Kendra; her daughter Karen; and her granddaughter Karisha McArthy.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy (Aram) of Kentucky; her grandsons, Chip Connin (Cassie) of Morenci and Kip Connin (Jana) of Indiana; her great grandchildren, Kristos, Kolya, Chase (Caitlyn), Carter (Mackayla), Kaden and Keegan; her great great grandchild Arthur; her grandson-in-law Tony McArthy (family: Ruth Knaus); and her brother John Slee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
