He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Thenikl and Nellie Thenikl (Brown); his son Dennis Jr.; and his brother Sonny Thenikl. He is survived by: his significant other Karen Haack; his children, Melissa Myszak (Brian Maxim) and Anthony Thenikl; his grandchildren, Shaelynn, Elijah, Zander, Gracie, Jadon, Kaylee, Brett, Tyler, Sawyer, Justice, Lilly and Natalie; his great grandchildren, Weston, Sophia and Layla; his siblings, Marlene Brooks (Dan), Larry Thenikl (Wanda), Rose Bazinau, Bill Thenikl (Barb) and Kathy Vanderwall (Don); and his sister-in-law Lorraine Thenikl. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home (13985 Northland Dr, Big Rapids, MI 49307). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
