He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward O. Bush and Kathleen M. Schofield (Hilliker); his granddaughter Jennie Bell Bowers; his nephews, Gary Creighton and Derrick Cogswell; his siblings, Bonnie Sue Bush, Patsy Ringler (Lyle Ringler) and Ronald Creighton; and his sister-in-law Artie Creighton.

He is survived by : his children, Michelle Higgins (Joseph) of Evart, Rich Bowers (Sarah) of Morley and Trisha Landreth of Edmore; his siblings, Tonda White of Sparta, Connie Whipple (Bruce) of Morley, Rick Bush of Morley, Penny Jesko of Big Rapids and Michael Creighton (Jan) of Stanwood; and his nieces and nephews, Candy Whipple (Gary Routley), Bruce Whipple Jr., Rocky Peacock (Nichole), Elvis Peacock (Paula), Russell Peacock (Pattie), Jennie Cain (John), Scottie Creighton (Gloria), Bernita Mae Ringler (Bruce Avery), Timothy Hopkins (Melissa), Robin Miller (Scott), April Hopkins, Ronnie Creighton (Julie), Chrissy Creighton, Mandie Dewey (Chris), Robbie Ringler (Tammy) and Cindy Creighton-Dow (Tonda). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, several great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Brother's Home (1220 Gunn Ln, Morley, MI 49336).
