He is survived by: his wife Helen Carey (Adrianse); his siblings, Fred, Larry and Marie Kohn (Don); his children, James (Leslie) and Dotty Estep (Mike); his grandchildren, Megan (Thad), Stephen (Jody), Emily (Phil), Samantha (Craig), Michael (Taylor) and Thomas; his great grandchildren, Gage, Greyson, Natalie, Griffin, Leo and Nolan; his sons, Timothy and Thomas; and his siblings, Robert and Phyllis Hall.

Memorial Contributions may be made according to Bethel Lutheran Church or Morley-Stanwood Sports Booster.

“So many prayers going out to the entire Carey Family. Stan was truly one remarkable human. To all of us in the Morley Stanwood Community if you were lucky enough to know Stan and Helen they were known as Grandpa and Grandma to all. They attended every sporting event and made sure that none of our kids would go hungry, from Stan cooking hot dogs and Helen's amazing desserts during baseball season. I know both my boys were lucky to have such an amazing person touch their lives. Toni Johnson”
