She was predeceased by: her husband Dean Schmitzer; and her father James Pavlica. She is survived by: her children, Chad Hewitt (Tammy), Heather Keesler (Casey) and Hope Brown (Corey); her grandchildren, Taylor (Christian), Mackenzie, Chelsi, Kaylee, Colby and Keegan; her great grandchildren, Jaycub, Coraline and Hazel; her mother Joanne Pavlica; and her sisters, Pam Ryan (Tom) and Andrea Gasper (Tim). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Cindy's name to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
