She was predeceased by: her parents, Jean Lockwood and Gladys Lockwood (McGowan); and her siblings, Barbara Sheski, Mary Hewitt, Phyllis Miller and Merrill Lockwood.
She is survived by: her husband David A. Scheffler; her sons, Alfred Scheffler (Becky) and Joseph Scheffler; her grandchildren, David Scheffler (Anwyn) and Ashley Scheffler; and her sister Ella Parrish.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Gilead Baptist Church (300 N Delaney Rd, Owosso, MI 48867).
