He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Bemiss and Gayle Bemiss (DeWaters); his wife Melodye; his stepdaughter Mindy Selden; and his grandson Skylar Swain.
He is survived by: his sister Chris McDevitt; his nieces, Kelly McDevitt (Margaret) and LeAnn Gerard (Eddie); and his grandson Jesse Selden.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes (214 S Main St, Perry, MI 48872). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the Oak Plains Cemetery (12801 Shaftsburg Rd, Shaftsburg, MI 48882).
