He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Hefling and Marion Hefling (Wolverton); and his brother Joseph Hefling. He is survived by: his wife Norene F. Keil; his daughters, Tracy Anne of Mount Clemens and Susan Marie of Mount Clemens; his granddaughter Stephanie Marie Schepke (Toni) of Roseville; his great grandchildren, Lennon and Aherlow Schepke; and his siblings, James Hefling, David Hefling (Theresa) and Mary Hicks (Kerry).
