Monica Ashley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Monica Ashley (Mount Clemens, Michigan), who passed away on October 2, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Monica farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Monica is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis Ashley; her parents, James Gilmore and Helena Gilmore; and her siblings, Maureen McCarthy, James Gilmore, Helena Delaney, Mary Eatmon and Shirley Gilmore.
She is survived by: her siblings, Joan Gajeski, Gene Gilmore and Muriel Mulcahy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Peter Catholic Church (95 Market St, Mt Clemens, MI 48043). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
