He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Durst and Mabel Durst (Penzien); and his siblings, Lloyd Durst, Ronnie Durst, Ken Durst and Loraine Kuhn (Jerry Kuhn).
He is survived by: his sons, David Allen Durst (Tracey) and Steven Durst; his grandchildren, Michael and Taylor Durst; his sisters-in-law, JoAnne and Susan Durst; his sister Carol Durst; Patricia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many close friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions to St. Jude Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
