He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Roddy and Joan Thomas; his uncles, Rodrick and Rog; and his nephews, Earl and Frank.
He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Destin Hockaday, Ashley Moore and Maurice Moore; his grandchildren, Salem, Maurice and Tanisha; his siblings, Reginald Roddy, Calvina Roddy, Brian Roddy, Kenneth Thomas (Elizabeth) and Audrey Roddy; and his stepmother Betty. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
