He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Dumas and Josephine Dumas (Poellintz); his grandson Devontae Scott; his significant other Regina Davis; and his siblings, Dolores Dumas, Marie Clark, Annie Rolland, Beulah Mae Dumas, Irene Dumas, Sara Frances and Diddie Nell Jelks.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Miller, Reginold Dumas, Kenneth Dumas, Marcus Dumas (Mary), Vondila Dumas, Crystal Davis, Reba Willingham (Celestle) and Angela Davis; and his brother Bobby Young (Linda). He is also survived by 26 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
