She was predeceased by: her parents, John Joseph and Blanche Helen Bourassa (Champagne); her husband Claude; her daughter Sherryl Ann; her granddaughter Theresa A. Parker; and her siblings, Fern Schabauer, Gladys McKeever, Helen Chalaboux, Aurelia Ayoub, Grace Ford, Alma Glassford, John Bourassa, Basil Bourassa and James Bourassa.

She is survived by: her children, Mark A. Thorpe, Daniel V. Thorpe and Cheryl Smith (Vince); her grandchildren, Jessica (Andy), James (Sara), Erica (Jeremy), John David, Wyatt, Dakota and Logan; and her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Hadrian, Ryder, Haven, Reed, Meagan, Bayleigh, Alainah, Landyn, Austin and Dallas.
