She was predeceased by: her parents, Vaughan Ashford and Dae Orvis (Hewitt); her husband Stephen Szemites; her daughter Daeanna Lynn; and her brother Herb Orvis.
She is survived by: her children, Stephine Sarver (Patrick), Kera Smith (John), Brandon Szemites (Melissa) and Michael Szemites (Laura); and her brother Dave Orvis (Francie). She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
