We are sad to announce that, on February 17, 2026, Darlene Joy Darling (Mount Morris, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandson Zachary Whitley. She is survived by: her children, Tamara Whitley (Dane), Sami Keely and Darwin "Skip" Orvis (Michelle); her grandchildren, Lindsay Whitley, Ashley Carpenter (Joe), Elias Whitley, Samantha Orvis Perry (Almon), Shyanne Orvis (Aaron DiNapoli), Nicole Orvis and Nathaniel Orvis; her great grandchildren, Hazel Tew, Josephine Perry, Margaux Perry, Almon Perry III, Colter DiNapoli and Kaia DiNapoli; and her brother Ronald Darling. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In honor of her self-proclaimed title of "Cat Lady" memorial contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society.
