She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Dowland and Alice Dowland (Brooks); her husband Marvin; her sons, James "Jim", Bobby and Danny; and her siblings, Earl Dowland, Marjorie Anthony, Lynford Dowland and Judith Byrd.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy (Curt Callahan) and Rodger Hemmes; and her grandchildren, Krista Hemmes, James (Valerie Hemmes), Bert Allison, Amber (Dawson Leone), Levi Callahan, Matthew (Jennifer Hemmes), Casey (Ryan Colthorp) and Tayler (Mike Ewald). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
