It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gustav Leroy Kienitz of Mount Morris, Michigan, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Gustav find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hattie Kienitz (LaDuke) and Gustav Sr. Kienitz; his sister Arlene Dembicky (John Sr.); and his brother-in-law Edward Simmons. He is survived by: his siblings, Dorothy Simmons and Gerald Kienitz (Ruby). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; as well as numerous loving friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mcgeehan Funeral Homes - Martin Chapel (316 W Broad St, Chesaning, MI 48616). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In honor of Gus's memory, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Luke's New Life Center or North End Soup Kitchen in Flint, or to a charity of your choice.
