She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Forest Nichols and Lillian Nichols (Stone); her husband Donald Richardson; her children, Terri (Tony Franckowiak), Mendy (Rick Caraway) and Wendy (Matt Batchelder); her grandchildren, Ryan (Michelle), Austin (Julie), Ashlyn (Jake), Kaden, Ana, Sam and Isaac; her great grandchildren, Dean, Owen, Henry and Rayn; and her siblings, Thomas (Kathy Nichols), Vernon Nichols and Forest (Chey Nichols, Jr.).

Visitation was held on Monday, May 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Martin Funeral (1194 E Mt Morris Rd, Mt Morris, MI 48458). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, May 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Flint Memorial Park Cemetery (9506 N Dort Hwy, Mt Morris, MI 48458).
