We announce the death of Paul J. Kimsel (Mount Morris, Michigan), who passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 86. Paul will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Paul will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Paul will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Paul’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Steven Kimsel, Lara Alexander (Pete) and JoAnne Zofchak (Chris); his grandchildren, Savannah, Emma, Ryan, Hunter, Abigayle (Ty), Brady and Aubrey; and his great grandchildren, Ella and Carter. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Flint Memorial Park (9506 N Dort Hwy, Mt Morris, MI 48458).
