He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sorensen and Mina Sorensen (Newland); his wife Betty Alexander; and his siblings, Richard Sorensen, Vivian McKenna, Robert Sorensen, Eileen Romaine, Shirley Reid and Raymond Sorensen.
He is survived by: his son David (Gina Sorensen); his grandchildren, Evan, Ander and Mara; his stepgrandson James Banko; his siblings, Joyce Richey and Ron (Naydia Sorensen); Chuck, Janet Kelley and Toni Irwin. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
