He was predeceased by: his parents, William Boven and Pauline Boven (Hardin); his grandchildren, Natalie and Nathanial; his sister-in-law Michelle; and his friends, Deno, Vito and Ted.

He is survived by: his children, Brian Boven (Amber), Terry Boven (Josebeth) and Ashlee Taylor (Kenny); his close friend Lori Boven; his grandchildren, Lacey, Kaleb, Austin, Faith, Naudia, Kenneth and Brystal; his great grandchild Axiel; and his brothers, Ted, Richard (Ronda), Gary (Geraldine), John (Cathy) and Doug (Valentina). He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
