He is survived by: his wife Paulette Starr; his children, Renee Starr, Rudy Starr (Jennifer) and Racheal Starr; his grandchildren, Brice Starr (Kaitlin Oliver), Trevor Starr (Maddy), Macayla Starr (Nick Hornung) and Sadie Starr (Bilal Chaar); his great grandchildren, Mason Bright, Porter Starr and Amelia Burnaine; his sisters, Annie Bays and Vicki Hagar (Bob); his siblings-in-law, Donna Starr, George Miller (Sally) and Gary Orr; his children, Brian, Lea, Prestin, Norly, Lesly, Anain, Sofia, Charlie, Selina and Terry; his close friends, Ernie Fairless (Shelly) and Dennis Dupre (Ann); and his friends, First Apostolic Church and Greater Hope Church. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Paulette Starr to support her during this time.

“What do you say about a man who gave so much of himself to so many. Bob was a man of God and a man like no other. He will be missed and thought of by many. In trouble time when I was younger and homeless I ran across Bob at the center building while he was feeding folks. I can't remember now why he was there, but I do remember his kindness and the bag of Bisquit's he gave me. That food and kindness meant a lot to me at that troubled time in my life and I never forgot it. God rest his soul.”
