He was predeceased by: his parents, Lafayette Ramin and Alice Ramin (Daniels); his siblings, Ethel Gilliam, Trisha Ramin and Sam Ramin; and his brother-in-law John Kohns (Gary McSigue).
He is survived by: his wife Carol Bigelow; his children, Kevin (Gina Helzer) and Kristal (Ed Niemi); his grandchildren, Eddie (Erica), Kara (Markus), Nick (Brooklynn), Sarrah Helzer and Alex Helzer; his great grandchildren, John, Leo and Archer; his siblings, Bev Kohns, Dennis Ramin, Sharon Ramin, Jim (Ginger Ramin), Larry (Penny Chaney) and Duane Ramin; his sister-in-law Vicki (Greg Cline); his friend Rita Walker; and his close friends, John Mattingly and Harold Blandford.
