It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma R. Gidcumb of Mount Morris, Michigan, born in Watersmeet, Michigan, who passed away on March 6, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Hilding Anderson and Mattie Anderson (Peacock); her husband Harry Gidcumb; her siblings, William Anderson, Marion Moore, John Anderson and Albin Anderson; her son Edward "Joe" Gidcumb; and her grandson Daniel.

She is survived by : her children, Harry "Bob" (Marycatherine Gidcumb), Dwayne Gidcumb and Laurie Gidcumb; her grandchildren, Brianne, Kallie, Stephen, Tucker (Ashley), Cady (Alexander) and Keegan (Abigail); her great grandchildren, Laila, Cadence, Nina, Mattie, Thomas and Alyana; her brother Shirley "Pix" Anderson; and her niece Connie Kalfs. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
