She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Ortega; her parents, John Plunkey, and Virginia Plunkey, Sr.; and her brother John Plunkey, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Paul Powers; her grandson Zachary Powers; her sisters, Judith Tobias and Kathy Norton; and her siblings' children, Dennis Davis and Theresa Davis.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the St. Mary's Catholic Church.
