He was predeceased by: his parents, Bayley Charles Hunt and Verna Hunt (Streu); his sisters, Helen Bartes (Willard), Joyce Goodman (Joe) and Barbara Osborne (Bud); his children-in-law, Richard Powell and Peggy Hunt; and his grandson Arista Hunt.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Bausack; and his children, Charles Hunt (Barb), Thomas Hunt, Joyce Powell, Karen Hayes (Hugh), Judith Ware (Martin) and Mary Huck (Timothy). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
