It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Sue Olson (Mount Pleasant, Michigan), born in Fenwick, Michigan, who passed away on May 29, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Evylin "Bill" Hoople and Dorothy Hoople (Ranous); her husband Tom; her parents-in-law, Carl and Ruth Olson; and her siblings-in-law, John Olson, William Redick and Kay Olson.
She is survived by: her children, MariAnne Reihl (Frank) of Rodney, Amy Jo Fewless (Terry) of Big Rapids and Thomas C. Olson (Patti) of Remus; her grandchildren, Andy J. Reihl (Angela) of Beal City, Mark M. Reihl (Danielle) of Manistee, Jason T. Donley (Joanna) of Morley, Amanda Jo Olson of Mt. Pleasant, Courtney Anne Gritter (Ryan "Bubba") of Grandville and Abby Marie Olson of Cutlerville; her stepgrandchildren, Kris Fewless (Ashley) of Manistee and Nathan Fewless (Jennifer) of Spring Lake, MI; her siblings, Marge Redick of Jenison, Marilyn Chapin (Steve) of Stanton and Bruce Hoople (Jan) of Stanton; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Olson of Mt. Pleasant, Richard Olson (Patty) of Kalamazoo, William Olson of Grand Rapids and Emily Fawley (Michael) of Portage. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; 6 step great-grandchildren.
