With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonnie Jean Mauk of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, who passed away on January 8, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Bonnie had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Bonnie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Mauk and Maxine Mauk (Burmeister); her stepmother Sally Mauk; her stepbrother Robert Best; her nephew Matthew McNeil; and her great-niece Hannah VanSlyke.
She is survived by: her brother Douglas Mauk (Deborah) of Coopersville; and her stepsister Susan McNeil (David) of North Muskegon. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
