It is with sadness that the passing of Clayton Richard Garrett of Mount Pleasant, Michigan is shared. Clayton, born on November 8, 1933, passed away on July 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Garrett and Ethel Rose Garrett (Courser); his wife Carol (Grace); his son Tom Garrett; his grandsons, Patrick Garrett and Patrick Ellison; and his siblings, Ernest, Edward, Charles "Bud" Garrett and Helen Martin (Garrett).
He is survived by: his children, Tim Garrett of Mt. Pleasant, Christy Pohl (Tim) of Shepherd and Charlene Kruger (Scott) of Weidman; and his grandchildren, Susan, Tim, Sarah, Seth Garrett, Stephanie Stachowiak (Anthony), Jeremy Kruger (Anne Carson), Justin Kruger (Amy), Joshua Garrett, Brandon Garrett (Krissy), Ali Garrett (Jenna), Hayden Garrett and Elijah Garrett (Kate). He is also survived by many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
