It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Lee Opdycke of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, who passed away on April 24, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Opdycke and Irma Opdycke (Fish); his son Troy Opdycke; his granddaughter Paige Opdycke; his siblings, James Watters and Diana Carney; and his brothers-in-law, William Carney and Richard Carson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tracey Sallee (Richard Haslinger) of Grand Rapids and Tammy Brookens (Tim) of Shepherd; his close friend Roxanne Keller; his sister Dixie Carson of Alma; Eric Keller (Karen) of Beal City. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
