We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2024, at the age of 68, David Alan Recker of Mount Pleasant, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his father Robert Recker; and his sister-in-law Debra Recker. He is survived by : his mother Marilyn Recker (Jamieson); his wife Brenda Thering; his children, Danielle Britten (Trevor) of Remus, Stacy Recker of Rosebush, Seth Recker (Lindsey Bender) of Spring Lake, Melissa Foster (Howard) of Blanchard, Kelsi Karcher of Lake Isabella and Courtney Preston (Codee) of Blanchard; his grandchildren, Sean, Brennen, Tanner, Gunnar, Cason, Finley, Gage, Lane, Grant, Gavi, Natalie and Gus; and his siblings, Richard Recker of Mt. Pleasant, Peg Schafer of Mt. Pleasant, Steven Recker (Betty) of Remus and Jeffrey Recker (Diane) of Weidman.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2300 S Lincoln Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Lincoln Reception Center (2300 S Lincoln Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made payable to the Wishes of Family. (checks made payable to: Brenda Recker) The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Michael McConnon and staff of Isabella Citizens for Health, for the care they provided Dave.
