She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Gates and Shirley Gates (Grubb). She is survived by: her daughters, Kalynn Gates of Mt. Pleasant and Detera Carll of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Jacob, Kacey, Mia, Emma, Angel, Heaven, Blake, Braxton, Megan, Zaidyn and Zekial; her great grandchild Jasper; and her siblings, Scott Alan Gates of Lake, Gerolyn Freeze, II (Ray) of Mt. Pleasant, Penny Yuncker (Terry) of Shepherd and Robert Gates (Susan) of Mt. Pleasant. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
