He was predeceased by: his parents, Simon Jackson and Cecilia Jackson (Elk); his son Simon Jackson, Sr.; his grandsons, Justin Bennett, Jessie Tackett and Matthew Jackson; his great grandchild Kyle Anthony; his siblings, Lucille Hawkins, Elsie Compo, Patricia Keshick, Catherine Jackson and DeJay Elk; his niece Michelle Jackson; and his nephews, Elmer Keshick, Jr., Joseph Compo, Jr., James Compo and Peter Compo.

He is survived by: his wife Julia Jackson; his children, Delmar Jackson, Jr. (Mary), Darryl Jackson (Theresa), Angel Jackson, Salina Jackson, Daniel Jackson and Tonya Antoine (Steven); his adoptive son Jeffrow Roland; and his brothers, Alvin Jackson and David Jackson. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
