He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Paul Eugene, Margaret Helen Pearson (Mishaga), Howard and Elizabeth Luella LaPrairie (Lemuel). He is survived by: his parents, John Pearson and Kimberly Pearson (LaPrairie) of Indian River, MI; his wife Devan Pearson of Mount Pleasant, MI; his children, Reed and Baker Pearson of Mount Pleasant, MI; his siblings, Ashley Boilard of Harbor Springs, MI and Jeremy Pearson (Libby) of Boyne City, MI; his parents-in-law, Joslyn Sainsbury of Mount Pleasant, MI and Hal Banks (Erin) of Mount Pleasant, MI; his sister-in-law Danielle Brickner (Adam) of Greensburg, PA; his siblings' children, Ayla, Ellery Brickner, Bruce Boilard, Everly and Wilhelmina Pearson; and his pets, Indy and Bauer. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Woods Catholic Shrine (7078 M-68, Indian River, MI 49749). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
