It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Yvonne Houghton of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, born in Flint, Michigan, who passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Alexander Ross and Clara Ross (Brownell); her husbands, David Emery and Eldon Houghton; and her brothers, Alexander Ross and Calvin Dale.

She is survived by : her daughters, Rhonda Ashland (Chris) of Midland and Denise Lewis (Shane) of Mt. Pleasant; and her grandchildren, Jessica, Tyler Ashland, Claire and Dylan Lewis.
