She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph McDonald and Edna McDonald (Salchert); her husband Steve; her siblings, Marguerite Rice, Bobbie Oplinger and Edward; her son-in-law Phillip Roberts; and her siblings-in-law, Rodrick Rice, Earl Oplinger, Harold, Walter Rau, Raymond, Sally Rau, Richard, Rosemarie Funnell, Ted Brownlee, Norman Rau, Donald, Gaye Rau, Dale and Margaret Noble.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Rau of Ravenna, Marjorie Roberts of Los Angeles, Bill Rau (Lea Ann) of Mt. Pleasant and Mary Kay Rau of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Christopher Rau (Robin) of St. Johns, Kevin Rau (Kathleen) of Mt. Pleasant, Kyle Rau (Jamie Bailer), Coleman, Craig Rau of Kinross, Michael Roberts (Erica) of Downey, CA and Sarah Roberts (Craig Robinson) of Gladstone, OR; her great grandchildren, Alex Rau, Tyson, Taya, Charles Coles, Luke Rau, Jordan Rau (Justine Prill), Zoey, Logan Mishler, Violet, Lily, Logan Roberts, Sutter, Grady Robinson, Camden, Aubree, Bristol Rau, Josie and Jolene Rau; and her sisters-in-law, Kay McDonald of Beal City, Mary Irene Zeien (Fred) of Beal City, Gert Brownlee of Sanford, Edna "Doll" Rau of Beal City and Patricia Rau of Beal City. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph the Worker School or the Cemetery Fund at St. Joseph Church in Beal City.
