He was predeceased by: his parents, Verne Brackett and Virginia Brackett (Perry); his wife Elizabeth Gaumer; his son Elliott, Jr.; and his siblings, Ruth Whitney and Roy Brackett.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Schwalm (Jeff) of Mt. Pleasant and Beth Perez (Feliz) of Mt. Pleasant; his grandchildren, Stephen Rosebrock (Kayla), Brandon Schwalm (Destiny), Elizabeth Schwalm (David), Jennifer Jenkins (Richard), Sarah Mousas (Vasilis), Elliott Brackett III, Kurtis Brackett (Natalie) and MeKenzee Brackett; his girlfriend Ann Sedell; and his daughter-in-law Lorna Brackett.
