It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Lee Hinman (Mount Pleasant, Michigan), born in Roscommon, Michigan, who passed away on September 3, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Hinman, and Lois E. Hinman, Jr. (Crossley); his parents-in-law, Robert and Mildred LeVasseur; his grandparents, Charles Sr. and Anna Hinman; his sister Margaret Cabay; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Francis LeVasseur, Donald Cabay and Leroy Hill.
He is survived by: his wife Renee Hinman (LeVasseur); his children, Melissa Lynch (Gary) and David Lee Hinman; his grandchildren, Paige Lynch, Kapre Lynch, Charlotte Hinman and Anthony Dammer; his uncle Wally Hinman; his sister Mary Sue Anderson (Gary); his siblings-in-law, Michelle LaPlant (Ed), Nan Hill, Jim Levasseur (Judy), George LeVasseur (Pat) and Paul LeVasseur (Cindy); and his close friends, Matthew and Linda Schmidt. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
